Snowdrop Flower Essence for Moving Forward After Dark Times
I always thought of Snowdrops as looking sad with their heads dropped. A reminder of the heaviness of Winter and the dark days surrounding them.
But now I see that as them as mirrors for us. It's as if they are telling us:
“Use me and I'll help you to drop your shoulders releasing all those stuck emotions.”
Snowdrop flower essence is useful for any situation that is stuck or frozen. It’s soft and gentle and lets the situation melt like an ice cube to enable changes to begin. It is beneficial for when you get a feeling of not being able to move on and also to those who are unable to grieve be it for a loved one, a place, life circumstances, etc.
I used it for myself and my clients during the pandemic. During a time when so much has been taken from us be it time with friends, family, freedom, jobs, and we were all grieving the losses.
Snowdrop gave me a soft feeling where I began quietly looking forward to the new opportunities emerging with a feeling of hope for more love in the world and a little less materialism.
In my practice, I use it for clients who just can’t move on due to a grief for a life not lived, opportunities not taken, relationships not lasting etc. and they just feel stuck in that moment. For example, I had a client who felt they could nearly reach out and touch their future if it wasn’t for the heaviness they carried around with them like a hook they got caught on, tugging at them, dragging them back saying “Oh no, you’re stuck here with me”.
Snowdrop
The Snowdrop Essence helped them by softly loosening the hold these memories had on them, giving them the space to feel the freedom to take that next step now that the memory has loosened its hold. The Snowdrop shows us that our Winter has its time, but so does the new chapter that Spring asks us to step into.
